Accredited tour guide

My name is Lynn Rochefort. I am your licensed private guide for Quebec City. I’m passionate about  history, culture and architecture and, most importantly, showing  people my beautiful city and its surroundings.

In 2013, I founded Frontenac Tours, my own touristic business to satisfy the needs of the greatest number of travelers who arrives to Quebec City. In 2018, I created a group of certified tour guides who are all passionate about their work just like me so we can better serve the needs of the large number of tourists.

No matter if you are a family or small/big group, I will find the best possible combination to adapt to your needs and to make your experience in Quebec City memorable.

Don’t be shy to ask any information about our tours. It’s always my pleasure to answer any questions or requests you may have.

Hey, Bonjour! My name is Monika and I’m behind the technical side of this amazing website. Also, I’m the one who is responsible for the social media presence of Frontenac Tours. I’m excited to bring an European flavor with my Hungarian nationality and more than 10 years experience in Switzerland.

Passionate about travel, I visited Canada & Quebec City in 2018 for the first time and it was love at first sight! Since then I spend most of my time between Canada and Europe exploring all about the culture, the history and all the activities of Quebec.

In the meantime, I’m working on my travel blog where I can share my past and future travel experiences. You can read it here.

Tour : Old Quebec and its jewels not to be missed

My daughter and I spent a wonderful day with Lynne in Quebec City and the surrounding areas. Lynne was very knowledgeable and friendly as we toured some beautiful spots : St. Anne’s Basilica, Montmorency Falls, Ile of Orleans and Old Quebec City. She is very passionate about her city and warmly shared it with us throughout our travels. We are extremely grateful to have been able to meet and spend the day with such a lovely person!

Tour : Old Quebec and its jewels not to be missed

The tour Lynn provided for us exceeded all expectations. She shared her pride and love for her city and country and made us feel part of her world. Lynn went out of her way to make the day special for our granddaughter and taught us all a lot of history and local culture. Her warmth and enthusiasm made us feel like family. Our granddaughter said Quebec is her favorite of all the places we visited and she would like to go and live there for a while.

Tour : Old Quebec and its jewels not to be missed

Lynn is a superb guide. She is fun, considerate and committed to excellence. She has several degrees, all of which she brings into play in sharing her deep knowledge of Quebec City and its environs. She is also a native and has a unique understanding of Quebec, its history and culture. Not to missed and the highlight of our tour was the visit to basilica of St. Anne de Beaupre, one of the most magnificent churches in all Christendom, decorated with spectacular 20th century art.

Tour : Discover Old Quebec and Montmorency Falls

It was a pleasure spending the day with Lynn. She was super fun and shared many interesting stories about Quebec and the city’s history. Best of all, she was kind and thoughtful, taking time to find out what we would be interested in seeing and being as flexible as possible with our tour route. Lynn really knows her city well and took us to the most beautiful spots to admire it from. Her private tour is definitely worth it. Thank you, Lynn! Hope to see you again next time!

Tour : Old Quebec and its jewels not to be missed

Lynn is incredibly knowledgeable and personable, and she went above and beyond to make sure the tour was accessible and comfortable for our family member in a wheelchair. The tour of Quebec was very thorough, encompassing the historical and cultural roots of the city. She also recommended a lot for us to do before and after the tour, all of which was great! I can’t recommend Lynn enough, and we’ll be sure to book with her again next time we are in Quebec!
