Do I need to book to join a private tour of Quebec City?
Is the tip included in the tour fee?
No and it’s not mandatory. However, your appreciation is welcome.
How do I book a private guide?
What is the payment condition ?
The tour will be confirmed upon receipt of an initial payment (deposit) of $100CAD for any tours. Please use the secured online payment, you could choose to pay by credit card or PayPal. The balance will be paid after the tour by cash or credit card.
Are tours cancelled in case of bad weather?
Our beautiful city has been known to have extreme temperatures from time to time. Spring and Summer weather is typically beautiful. However, rain (or even snow!) can come down at the blink of an eye.
As long as it is safe to do so, all Frontenac Tours will take place as scheduled, regardless of weather conditions – safety for both our guests and our guides is our top priority. In the event of extreme weather, walking tours may be adjusted at the discretion of Frontenac Tours. Driving tours will proceed dependent on the safety of road conditions and at the discretion of Frontenac Tours.

If I need to cancel, are there any fees for the prepaid tour?
Your deposit is not refundable. The following fees will apply if the customer cancel the tour:
– 4 weeks in advance and more before the tour 25% of the tour price.
– Less than 4 weeks before the tour 50% of the tour price.
– Less that 48 hours before the tour 100% of the tour price.
Your cancellation needs to be sent at email@example.com. The date of the email will be used for references.
What if I'm running late for my guided tour?
Please contact us as soon as possible at 514-576-3434. If you are less than 30 minutes late from the start time, it won’t affect the lenght of the tour. If you are more than 30 minutes late, the duration of the tour will be shortened. If you don’t contact us to inform us of the delay, within 30 minutes of the start of the tour, this will be considered as a cancellation, with no possibility of deposit refund.
